O conglomerado de rádios dos Estados Unidos realizou na noite deste domingo (11/3) mais uma edição do seu prêmio, o iHeartRadio Music Awards. Para este ano, os organizadores passaram a semana adiantando alguns dos vencedores – como Foo Fighters e Judah & The Lion que foram antecipadamente anunciados como ganhadores das categorias “Rock Song of the Year” e “Best New Rock/Alternative Rock Artist”.

Mas houve mais! O Metallica também foi premiado como “Artista de Rock do Ano” enquanto os integrantes do Imagine Dragons foram eleitos os “Artistas de Rock Alternativo do Ano”. O Coldplay também não saiu de mãos vazias. A banda, junto com o The Chainsmokers, foram eleitos “Melhor Colaboração” por “Something Just Like This”. Já a “Música Alternativa” do ano foi para “Feel It Still” do Portugal.The Man. O “Rock Album Of The Year” é o “One More Light”, do Linkin Park.
O Bon Jovi foi a única banda que esteve na premiação. A banda recebeu a maior honraria do evento, o prêmio de “Ícone” e se apresentou ao vivo.
