Este ano, o Glastonbury tem sido um verdadeiro palco de homenagens a David Bowie. Não só existe um raio enorme em referência à capa do álbum “Aladdin Sane” (1973) sobre o palco principal da pirâmide, mas um grande grupo de fãs que chegaram na quinta-feira deram início à cantoria nos arredores do festival ao som de “Rebel Rebel”.
O The Last Shadow Puppets fez a sua própria homenagem a Bowie durante o seu set no palco Pyramid, tocando “Moonage Daydream”, faixa do clássico disco “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars” (1972).
